Matcha Under the Open Sky
Step away from the noise and into the calm of NODATE—a traditional Japanese outdoor tea gathering—held under the open sky at Hunters Point in Queens, with sparkling views of the East River and Manhattan skyline.
- Reconnect with nature in a serene waterfront setting as you enjoy a refreshing bowl of iced tea and a seasonal fruit offering, thoughtfully prepared for a summer afternoon of reflection and connection.
- In honor of the season, we will serve freshly whisked matcha chilled over ice—a cooling twist on tradition. Enjoy the refined sweetness and aroma of matcha from Kyoto while surrounded by nature.
📍 Location: Exact meeting point within Hunters Point Park will be shared with registered guests. Please contact us if you don’t receive the email by noon the day before the event.
🍵 What to Bring: Please bring your own matcha bowl (chawan)—any ceramic bowl that fits comfortably in both hands is welcome.
🌿 In Case of Rain: Weather-related updates will be sent by 5 PM the day before; full refunds will be issued if rescheduled or canceled.
You’ll leave feeling refreshed and grounded, having shared a peaceful ritual inspired by centuries of Japanese tea tradition—beneath the sky, beside the water.
