The Knox, Auberge Collection, a new hotel and residences in the Knox Street neighborhood of Dallas, takes its first guests on January 29, 2027. Reservations opened on October 15, 2026. The hotel has 140 guest rooms and suites, with interiors by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, and 48 private residences designed by the Dallas-based Chad Dorsey Design.

Rooms and suites

Rooms have marble bathrooms. The largest suite, The Manse, has its own fitness space, a wellness room, a bar, a media room, and living and dining areas. The Promenade Suite has a 2,100-square-foot terrace with dining and lounge areas, plus an indoor bar and a living room.

For longer stays, the hotel offers apartments with kitchen areas and indoor-outdoor living: Abbott House and Hester House, and Hyland House, which has three bedrooms. Rates start at $1,000.

Dining, spa and events

There are four places to eat and drink:

  • A signature restaurant serving Americana classics.
  • Next door, an indoor and outdoor salon serving European-style dishes and champagne.
  • An evening cocktail lounge in a speakeasy style.
  • Poolside dining in a pool garden that looks out over the Dallas skyline.

A Wellbeing by Auberge spa focuses on skin health and longevity and includes thermal bathing areas. The hotel also has a concept store.

Event spaces are reached through a private entrance. On the second floor, the Colonnade Room ballroom has floor-to-ceiling windows and a wraparound terrace, entered through The Gallery, an art-lined pre-function room. The third-floor Knox Parlour Rooms include the Waldon Room lounge, two meeting rooms with private terraces named Margay and Barlow, and the Kestrel Room under a tented ceiling. The Trophy Room, a private dining room with tapestry-covered walls, sits inside the signature restaurant.

Who is behind it

The hotel was developed by BDT & MSD Partners with three partners: Trammell Crow Company, the Owners of Highland Park Village, and The Retail Connection. It is the centerpiece of their mixed-use redevelopment of the Knox Street neighborhood, a four-acre project with shops, restaurants and green space.

Rick Fidel is Regional Vice President and General Manager. He previously ran Rosewood Miramar Beach as Managing Director. Auberge Collection, part of The Friedkin Group, operates 39 hotels, resorts, safaris and residences.
