After nearly a decade in the making, one of Europe's most coveted hotel groups has finally landed in Venice. Airelles Palladio Venice opened on April 1, 2026 on Giudecca Island, just a five-minute boat ride from Piazza San Marco, marking the French luxury group's first property outside its home country. Spread across three historic 16th-century buildings, a private church, and nearly one hectare of gardens, the hotel features 45 rooms and suites, three swimming pools, and what is described as the largest spa in Venice. The dining lineup alone is worth the trip, with four world-class chefs anchoring three venues, including Nobu Matsuhisa's first restaurant in Venice, Jean-Georges Vongerichten's Italian debut, three-Michelin-starred Norbert Niederkofler at Villa Frollo, and pastry icon Cédric Grolet overseeing desserts across the hotel.
