Aman Sveti Stefan

One of the most legendary addresses in the Aman portfolio is making its return. Aman Sveti Stefan, the iconic resort on Montenegro's Adriatic coast, has confirmed it will reopen for the 2026 summer season following a settlement agreement between the Montenegrin government and leaseholders. The resort encompasses an entire 15th-century fortified island of stone cottages and the mainland Villa Miločer, the former summer residence of Queen Marija Karađorđević, set on a pink sand beach with private access to Queen's Beach and King's Beach along the Adriatic. Over the decades it has drawn everyone from Elizabeth Taylor and Marilyn Monroe to Sophia Loren, and after years of closure it is poised to reclaim its status as one of Europe's most extraordinary and storied places to stay.
