Venice's most storied hotel is about to begin a new chapter. Danieli, A Four Seasons Hotel, Venice is set to reopen on August 26, 2026, following an extensive restoration of a landmark that has welcomed guests for 200 years. Set along the Riva degli Schiavoni just steps from Piazza San Marco, the hotel unites three interconnected palaces, including the 15th-century Palazzo Dandolo, reimagined by French designer Pierre-Yves Rochon with Murano glass chandeliers, Italian marble, terrazzo floors, and a palette of soft pinks and lagoon blues. Rooftop restaurant Terrazza Danieli, helmed by Executive Chef Adriano Rausa, will offer sweeping lagoon views, making this one of the most anticipated reopenings in Venice.
