Guardian at the W just opened on the 22nd floor of the newly renovated W New York Union Square, becoming the neighborhood's first and only rooftop bar, perched right behind the hotel's iconic W sign. Designed by AvroKO with a nod to Warhol-era New York glamour, the space offers sweeping skyline views and a retractable roof that keeps it open year-round. The drinks and food come from the team behind Seahorse and Lure Fishbar, with signature cocktails like the Union Square Spritz and small plates ranging from tuna tartare to Maine lobster rolls.
