Photography by Room 207

Room 207 is the first standalone bar from the team behind Junoon, the acclaimed Flatiron fine-dining restaurant that earned a Michelin star for eight consecutive years. Tucked behind a discreet entrance on 13th Street in Manhattan's East Village, the speakeasy-inspired cocktail bar has a cozy, dimly lit library feel with soft jazz playing in the background. The cocktail program, led by Chief Mixologist Hemant Pathak, revolves around forgotten classics and reimagined staples, updated with advanced mixological techniques, house-made bitters and tinctures, and honey sourced from rooftop apiaries across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. The food menu by Executive Chef Akshay Bhardwaj channels the underground glamour of 1920s New York, reinterpreted through the lens of the city's contemporary fine dining scene.
