Titlis Tower
Rolex just opened its highest boutique on earth, and reaching it requires a cable car. Perched at 3,020 meters near the summit of Mount Titlis in central Switzerland, the new Rolex Boutique sits inside the recently opened Titlis Tower, a former 1980s telecommunications tower dramatically reimagined by architects Herzog & de Meuron into a cross-shaped landmark inspired by the Swiss flag. Operated by longtime Rolex partner Bucherer, the boutique pairs the brand's signature design, including a Verde Alpi marble wall and natural stone and wood finishes, with floor-to-ceiling glazing that turns the surrounding glacier and Alpine panorama into the real showpiece. Beyond the watches, the tower also offers the Horizon Deck observation platform and Joseph's Restaurant, making a summit excursion just 30 minutes from Lucerne feel like stepping into another world.
